We are an independent, nondenominational church with Jesus Christ as our head and His Word as our guide.  Spend any significant time with us and you will see baptistic tendencies here—we baptize by immersion those who confess Jesus as Lord—and you will also see Presbyterian characteristics—we manage our church by elder government and submit to the teaching and direction of godly shepherds—but the way we practice the faith is on the basis of doctrine and not a loyalty to any one denomination.  And we are striving always to align ourselves with biblical principles.  It is our sincere hope, though, that you will see, as our very name suggests, love for Christ as our primary motivation and God’s grace, Truth, and Church as our preoccupation.

Grace is part of our name because we magnify the Lord’s grace that He extends to everyone everywhere, but especially His saving grace to sinners.  It is by God’s grace that people live, but also that we are saved and serve Him.

Bible is part of our name because we exalt God’s Word high above everything.  It is the very words God breathed out of His mouth, bore the biblical writers along to record, and preserved down through the centuries into our hands.  All that God wanted to say to us is contained in the Bible alone.  It is inerrant, infallible, sufficient for life and godliness, and we submit to it as our final authority.

Church is part of our name because it defines who we are.  We are God’s elect, to represent Him fairly and accurately to the lost world.  God has ordained the local church to be the expression of His universal body.
