Is this Christian Counseling?
While
popular Christian counseling tries to integrate secular principles with
Scripture, our counseling sees the whole counsel of God’s Word alone as
necessary for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). The Scriptures, with
the aid of the Holy Spirit, are sufficient for any believer to handle
every situation in life in a godly way. If counseling is to continue
and effect biblical change, homework in the Scriptures must be
completed between sessions.
What type of counseling is offered?
Our team of GCM counselors are trained and qualified to give marriage, family, and individual counseling.
Is it confidential?
Confidentiality
is strictly observed when there is no biblical requirement to involve
others, as in the case of church discipline (Matthew 18:15-19) or
criminal activity (Romans 13:1-7).
What will it cost me?
Absolutely
nothing! Ministering the Word to troubled souls is a God-given
responsibility of every church. We gladly serve our church family, the
Body of Christ at large, and those in our area.
